Pretty level-headed guy.
See no realistic shot at landing him given his affinity of OU.

BTW, don't shoot the messenger. Watch the interview for yourself.

Considering he tried to commit to LSU a few months ago, we have a shot.

Why didnt we accept his commitment then? Was it due to moses fiasco?

If this is true then the real question is who the frick made the decision not to let him?

I think it was that Les character that was here for a bit.

This reminds me of "Dumb and Dumber" scene with Jim Carey, "...you mean I have a chance???!!!???"

Jim had just been told, by the red-headed chick, that he had
"one millionth of a chance."

Guess and guess only... a realistic chance, but somewhere between 30-40%

I think the 'new people in charge' with a 'new take' on him personally is what gets us back in the door (already there).

He and Ignot tried to commit but weren't allowed because the staff was still thinking they could flip Moses and Allen

Moscana talked about it last week in depth

He's thinking of the LB recruit who came in from Florida. Wanted to commit....was told to hold on. Got pissed and committed to Tennesse. I think.

There's no way the #3 ILB in the country tried to commit to us and we told him to frick off! And if he did, there's no way it went unreported!

He's already used all of his OVs as well, so if we can even get him to visit, it'll be on his own dime.

I live in Oklahoma. Hear the rumblings and rumors a lot. Naturally, the high profile offensive players usually favor OU once they're sold. But defensive players aren't so easily sold there.

Even many of the in-state prospects are easily wooed away from OU and OKST. See Deondre Clark- 4* HS stud, Oklahoma's premier pass rusher that year. Turned nose up at OU from start to finish. Likely would've been a standout on that defense, but wanted to play at LSU with the best. Was merely a serviceable situational backup at LSU.

Reason? Because the caliber of defensive athletes that come to LSU is outstanding. And defensive players around the country know it. Those who are not sold to mighty Satan at Alabama are usually highly interested in LSU. So, is there a chance? To quote Les, "you betcha!"
