May I ask a question though? I would like to know how he got these tickets? You think his mom who seemed furious he chose Bama would have bought them?? I'm not trying to say anything on the kid. He did what he thinks is best for him and I wish him the best at Bama except when he plays LSU.

Really? How'd she get the tickets? She got them from the Alabama side correct? There are lifelong season ticket holders that couldn't get their hands on them. How did she gain access to tickets?

I won't commment from either extreme. No, LC is not someone I would classify as "classy"...Classy would have been telling LSU, he was a strong lean to Bama but would not formally announce until the UA Game. That would have allowed our coaching staff who he claims to be fond of, an opportunity to go after someone esle. If he were OOS Recruit it would be different. Does he "owe" LSU anything, no...we shouldn't "kill" him, but certainly don't have to send him off with a parade either...

I second the question about getting the tickets.
Just wondering what the NCAA rules are on such. I'm sure the argument will be it went to a future student trainer, but were all given a chance to buy 4?

Clearly a violation of some kind happened here. There is no doubt. But, is anyone surprised? This is how it goes now. You do it till you get caught and you almost never get caught at stuff like this.
No way this is legitimate. A high school guy and his girlfriend from Dutchtown don't just come up with tickets to the BCS National Championship Game. Seriously? Lots of shady stuff going on in the recruitment of Louisiana players by both Alabama and Auburn over the past couple of years.
Eventually, both of those programs are going down. They'll get sloppy and it will be a mess.

He picked a school that has four straight #1 recruiting classes, lands 5* ballers, and is loaded with DBs..
LC may shop schools so well that he chose the only one where someone else could beat him out for the starting job..all four to five years there.

Wasn't overly impressed by his UA efforts, though I'm sure he's all that and a bag of chips as a player to match his class ranking..
But, Saban lands DBs, as fast and faster..and in bunches.

This year A&M tanked a preseason top 10 team in mind-numbing fashion, followed by losing the last game in the Texas series at home and firing our coach in an embarrassing fashion. Then, we go on to tank this basketball season as a preseason top 20 team with a coach that gets diagnosed with Parkinson's. How do you fire him without being assholes?
You were SEC Champs and likely preseason top 2 next year. Your seniors that graduated are the first class since 1999 to NOT win a BCS Title. Lets not forget the Hallman years. Lot of bad months in there

Trust me, Bama wasn't going to allow Landon to miss the game if he wanted to go.
