The whole thing was awkward when he was making the announcement. The family looked like they were at a funeral and the girl friend with her big smirk face. I felt uncomfortable watching it at my house from 500 miles away.
It is unbelievable to me that if he was "feeling bama" for two years that he would string out the home state team like this. I'm not criticizing his decision to go, that's fine. It is his choice. I'm just upset with the stringing along of our coaching staff.

Absolutely agree. LSU will be fine.
It's annoying as shite that there are so many people coming out of the woodwork claiming Alabama the epitome of college football or how sooooo much better Alabama recruiting is now over LSU. Alabama has a good class this year, no doubt.....but I just clicked over to see LSU's last two classes and laughed.
They're basically the same thing. "Rankings" be damned because ultimately, they don't matter where they're "ranked" if they're in the top 6-7. How quickly these people forget LSU's class last year and the solid class this year.

If his girlfriend was going to LSU (or Tulane, or UNO, or USL, etc) he would be committing to LSU. If she was staying in state so would he. This guy is clearly following a piece of tail and he doesn't want to admit it.

You see it as him stringing along the coaching staff, but maybe he see's it as he continue to let LSU recruit him and try to change his mind. In the end, he just wanted to leave the state. I would rather the prospect give us as much time as possible to change his mind.

He just burned a very big bridge. Hope he likes alabama, because people here have long memories, ie Mcnight. Seems like he strung along his family because they seemed surprised too. They would not have acted like that if they knew ahead of time. No prob. with him going to bama, just did it all wrong if he knew two years ago. He purposely did it this way and its just wrong. We will survive as always and he will wish he came here when its all said and done, cuz mama is not happy having to root against her son.

The same people that are coming out chicken little style are the same ones that criticize miles about everything and then try were shutup because they could say anything this year. Now they found something to bitch about. Which I think is hilarious because if you are looking something to butch about with lsu coaches, sure as hell isn't recruiting. But idiots are idiots.

I think Landon is trash for leading us on and letting a little girl and what she totes with her make his decisions for him (NOT MUCH OF MAN).I think he needs to get out of NEW ORLEAN NOW SO HE SAYS THAT IS WHERE HE LIVE THATS NEW TO ME.(I thought he was from Dutchtown boy what blow to them)and move to gump city and take the (B) with him and dont come back to LA and hope him the worst.looks like his loss. If you notice i am not happy with his dicision he made

Just the opposite from my short observation and tape of LC. I believe he is the antithesis of a showboater. He probably would rather have committed early but got pressure from ESPN and others to string the process out to sell subscriptions. He seems like a really good kid but he also seems very impressionable to the people that support his rebel side. He has five star physical skill but I question his desire. IMO he has three star desire. Time will tell but I predict that LC's ambition will hold him back more than his physical abilities. I know, sour grapes, right?

Saban had them give her a scholly in order to entice him and it worked. Whatever that's recruiting for you but you Bama fans should own up to it. You're just a fan you don't have to try and save face like he's doing.
