Kid never had any interest in coming to LSU. He and the staff have both moved on.

Ask Glenn but I don't think he will be a tiger. They need to go get Kendall Bussey jr . Better hands and inside runner .

Merritt is not going to play rb at the next level. LSU is not looking for him to play rb. He's a wr in the mold of odell beckham. Ability wise, that's what he is. However, his body is odell senior year at LSU right now.

He now wants yo play wr and not rb. Still think TAM at the moment but they've been recruiting him as a RB. Keep an eye on Oregon.

Don't need Bussey. We've got 3 studs and Lanard Fournette will be in, in some fashion. Not enough spots as it is.

Merritt has never shown LSU much love. His prerogative. Good luck to him

I think LSU is in it, but I'd look for Flirida St and Florida to be in the mix.

Merritt's dad hasnt posted here in a while, so idk where we stand with him but it seems like both parties have cooled. But to me, Merritt looks like he could be a Percy Harvin type of do it all guy. Mostly a WR but could take a jet sweet or handoff every now and then. Would love to have him but its always a numbers crunch and we cant take them all. I just hope to goes outside the SEC but somewhere he can thrive.

Just hope Merritt goes to a school outside the SEC, if he doesn't select LSU.

I know this is no consolation to many of you, but remember, as we clearly saw in the 2014 class, you can't get them all. Tigers will still have an outstanding class, with or without him!

Can't be selfish, especially with all the WRs we have in Louisiana. I'm hoping for Strickland and Johnson, added with Ferguson, we should be good. Then next year, we have a loaded WR crop. Dee Anderson OOS plus Davis, Sullivan, and Jones should hopefully wrap it up. If everything works out in 2016, the WR spot will be ridiculous.

Spears 6'3
Diarse 6'0
Dupre 6'3
Quinn 6'0
Chark 6'2
Upchurch 6'2
Ferguson 6'5
Strickland 6'5
Johnson 6'1
Davis 6'4
Jones 6'0/Leflore 6'0
Anderson 6'4
Sullivan 6'6

There's an article up talking about how he has scheduled a visit to Oregon for the Oregon vs. Stanford game. He talks about wanting to play WR not RB. Isn't that what LSU wants him for. I think in the end he's a tiger.

That's because he is a WR. I have no idea what all of these people on here talking about him as a RB is all about. I"ve seen the kid play a handful of times and he's a legit WR prospect…he can block, he can stretch the field, and he's got the ability to turn in some big plays in the open field. By the way, Destrehan's actual RB is a stud….undersized and getting very few looks…..but he's a strong football player (Will Matthews).

Yeah, I can see him in an Oregon scheme. I think he is a kid that sticks somewhere in the south that turns out great athletes to the NFL. Just a hunch.

I am from the area where he plays HS ball. He is not coming to LSU. The best fit for his hybrid RB/WR style are schools like A&M and Oregon. My bet is on Oregon...hopefully for LSU...outside of the SEC.
