With the list I have compiled from both Scout and Rivals offers up to this point, I count 144 LSU offers given out since the start of process.
That is counting a claimed offer from a New Jersey TE today and Benay Pryer.

A lot more than I can fit into one thread. I've weeded out the offers that I think are lies and the players that simply are not going to come here, but just want their profiles to show that they have an LSU offer.

It's really hard to tell. For a list, check in my Commitments thread in the excel spreadsheet link.
LSU's numbers are going to be inflated, because most of our information comes from recruiting services who have to go off of the words of kids in high school. The higher caliber the program, the more likely kids are to just add that school as an offer to make them look good.
With that said, I think the lists are for the most part accurate.

That is true for most programs and not just the high caliber ones. You can usually tell from the details given in the updates on the recruiting services if they are being honest or not. But some of these kids do not understand the offer process fully and really believe they have verbal or commitable offers and they don't have HS coaches who have experience in the process either.
