We need 2 QBs in 2017. The first two in-state guys we offered are now committed to other schools in the SEC West.

The same person responsible for recruiting them allowed our only QB recruit for 2016 to flip to a team we play every year, after ignoring a quasi-in-state option that subsequently committed to a third SECW school.

Two guys would be a coincidence, but four is a pattern.

That's true but LSU has not been successful in swaying QB commits from other schools and them actually sticking with LSU til the end.

I thought he turned down the Florida job last year? Plus he gets 4 mill now at Miss St. Unless some big college comes in with a bankroll, I see him sticking around Miss St for several years to come. Kinda like how Patterson is still at TCU.

I think we can flip Narcisse. Their coaching situation is gonna be as murky as ours soon and I think he was really close to choosing LSU the first time. We will also more than likely be able to sell him on playing early because we probably won't sign a good QB this year, if we're being honest with ourselves.

I think Narcisse can be swayed for sure

We haven't been successful at keeping early committed QBs either. How State's offense looks without Dak? Whether Mullen stays at Dakless State? If Miles will be here past 2016? How does Harris and the offense improve? These factors are all up in the air.

You do know prior to Prescott his QB Tyler Russell set passing records at Miss St right? The only reason Dak took over for Russell was because of 1) injury and 2) Dak was that dual threat that he was looking for.

But like I said, we have had problems with swaying QBs from other teams. Until it happens and a QB is swayed from another school and sticks to LSU, then I won't have faith of it happening.

The year before Dak started splitting time, he had a QB pass for 2900 yards and 24 TDs. I don't think it has anything to do with knowing his time is up. He seems like he really wants the Miami job, but Richt will have that on lockdown for 3 years at the least.
