Looks like he went into Alabama and had an in-home visit with ILB, Ben Davis.
We need this kid in the worst ways.

The decision to retain Miles — at least for another year — should help the program’s chances of landing Davis.

I don't want to drop Kevin Steele after one year. Chavis and Haley made a mess of recruiting and at least half of the defensive class in the front 7 from 2013 and 2014 is either gone for various reasons or hasn't done much to get on the field even in support roles.
We are likely bring in 11-12 in the front 7 and that will finally bring some depth to this group. We need at least 1 starter freshman LB.
Once the DBs get Steele's zone coverage scheme down, we'll be hard as hell to attack through the air.

Steele should be given another year.
Calling for a new coaches head before the season is even over is just stupid.
Give him another year with some good recruits before proclaiming him a terrible coach.

I'm not ready to can Steele. Idk that chief could've done much better with out lack of depth at DL/LB. secondary wasn't what we thought as a result of lackluster play by Mills, Thomas. Arky was their worst performance. They held up as well as they could in other games but eventually got gassed with repeated 3 and outs. A legit passing threat would do so much for us. Rinse. Repeat.

Steele was in Tennessee Tuesday meeting with 4-Star DE Emmit Gooden as per Ross Dellinger with the Advertiser.
