With our record of finding diamonds in the rough like Claiborne or Tyrann people shouldn't feel out about signing a 3 star.
Mathieu was a top 250 player in the country and top 5 in the state. Hardly a diamond in the rough. He was fairly highly rated for a guy his size.
I'd say Claiborne, Logan, Lonergan, Blue, Riley and Sheppard are probably the biggest 3 star "hits" during the Miles era. If you look at all of the 2 and 3 star players that Miles has signed, the majority of them were non contributors.
