Per Jake Nazar on twitter: Young says-"LSU has him really thinking things over".

Sounds to me like we are on the outside looking in.

sounds to me like all teams are being considered and he's giving us a long, hard look

remember when no one is talking.. all he has to do is recognize LSU is no more than 2 hours from his front door.

Always been the case with him. I think he had his heart set on leaving the state, but the full court press is making him reconsider. If he doesn't end up at LSU, it will only be because he wanted to experience college outside of the boot.

it won't be UCLA imo. Way too far from home. It's either LSU and Tamu. I want to say LSU, but I think its Tamu sadly

yeah to me that sounds like a guy who wasn't originally looking at or considering LSU.. but now he is really thinking about it.

i also agree that it may be a very tough decision and LSU being so close may be a deciding factor

Maybe he should wait until well after signing day to make his decision.

What I think is unfair is that unless they commit super early, JT does not allow them to take visits until after their season. So it's a whirlwind month and a half for these kids to make a huge decision. Kind of selfish on the Curtis end if you ask me.

If that quote is true, it's actually the most positive news regarding Young and LSU to date.

So, you gather LSU is on the outside looking in. What kind of reading comprehension skills do you have?

"LSU has him really thinking things over"

Sounds to me like he initially had himself set to go OOS(which everyone knew) but now is seriously thinking that might be a mistake.

i think LSU has really pressed him hard, and his parents would prefer he's 45 mins away rather than 6 hours away or a 6 hour plane ride. But alas, it is his decision to make.

If we didn't have Garrett, I have a feeling KY's recruitment would already be over. I really think he's hung up on being an OLB. No sources or anything, just my feelings. Hopefully we can reel him in.

fwiw I think he'd be a great OLB, but maybe that's not what he wants. Who knows? Would be sick to have CG and KY.

He's been honest and said that he wants to go out of state. Glad our guys aren't giving up but it'll be no surprise or disappointment if he does exactly what he said he wanted to do.

All of this "re-thinking things" sounds like Nkemdiche saying he was re-thinking things during his visit to LSU. Once it comes time for his decision I think he'll go out of state like he intended to all along.

It's about playing. If he is as good as billed ( I haven't seen him play) then LSU is a great opportunity; our linebackers need to be upgraded in terms of talent.

Agree. The only one I think is a sure starter is Kwon and even that is not absolute.

He's by far our best LB right now. He'll absolutely start.
