Kendall Beckwith question

Do you recruiting gurus think Beckwith would be a 5 star if he would have played exclusively in HS at DE instead of playing QB and other positions?

Tons of guys play out of position in high school, so it's impossible to know really

I'd be willing to bet that near all of the 5 stars from any recruiting service played both offense and defense in HS

What position is he even rated? Athlete? Kid's a stud regardless of star rating.

Well he's a LB, so don't see how DE would help.

I don't IMO.
Some have him as an ATH anyway - so I think it is put into perspective with that.
With that said, he is one of the best in this class and he is a true 5 star in my book (meaning that he has all the makings of awesome, amazing, athletic, big, etc. IMO

Well, that's the position he played on defense since his sophomore year. Started QB and played occasionally on defense.

He is probably the number 1 player in this class. Huge piece to our future.
