You don't follow close enough then. I've seen people talk about his grades before and his rankings drop reflects it as weel

So do you think devonta should play at 190 or 192.075 to optimize his size/strength potential?

Because it seems as if the game changes when he offers.

I've seen people on this board talk about it but I haven't seen it from anyone with credentials. A link should be easy to find if it is true. Usually Shea, Sonny or Speigs mentions whether or not there are rumblings of these kids not qualifying. Just saying other than this board I haven't seen it anywhere.

It's because these kids have giant arse ego's today with all the damn attention they receive. You'd swear he was getting drafted.

To be fair, I'd bet that the egos of HS recruits are the same as they've always been. The difference is just that they have the internet now, which is a megaphone that reaches everywhere instantly. The kids' egos have to compete for bandwidth with all the other egos, but everyone has an over-inflated sense of self-worth and potential at that age.

I don't know if it is true ego or just attention from other programs. We think that a kid should go to this school or that school. The kid meanwhile, receives 10 pieces of mail 3-4 times a week from 9-10 schools that we would think of as lesser. Not just the kid, but the kid, Mom, Dad, etc. That same kid might even have an offer from a larger school, but that larger school shows them far less attention. Doesn't mean they don't want him or that they don't value him. Still, to the kid and that's the key word here KID, they feel closer/more at home with the "Lesser Program". They're labeled as Drama Queens or kids with huge egos, but I really don't think that's the case.
