Damn.
That camera work was almost too "good". The raw emotions coming out of that kid's face were tough to watch.

The patella is the "knee", there's is no difference
Posted on 9/1/17 at 9:31 pm to houlsu
The knee is actually where the tibia and femur meet to form the joint. The patella is on the front of that. So there is a difference.

Man, you could see that fear in his face...been there.
Wishes for a speedy recover JR

They are saying that it is a dislocated knee. They are doing some MRI's on the tendons and ligaments.
As crazy as it sounds, he may not have torn anything at all and could be back in 2-4 weeks depending on how fast the swelling drops.
They have popped the knee back in place and now doing the MRI..
All twitter posts.

I would be very surprised if the MRI is clean after that video. Hoping for the best.

I watched it in slow motion and it looks like he hyperextended it. He may have just dislocated the knee. I hope he didn't tear anything also. The pain from a dislocated knee is excruciating they say so he probably thought it was torn.
We will know by tomorrow.
I saw a kid do something similar at a football practice years ago and they brought the ambulance out with stretcher just like with Rodgers. He was back on the field in 4 weeks. Crazy, I know. So it is possible.

your leg doesnt bend that way and not be season ending

We shall see. He dislocated his knee is all we know now. If he didn't tear any ligaments that is the length of recovery. 4 weeks for some. Depends what happens.
I mentioned the injury I saw on a practice field once and kid was back in 4 weeks. It does happen. Believe it or not.

The problem is that it usually dislocates because ligaments get torn first. The torn ligament allows it to slide. But hopefully somehow that didn't happen.

Just hope TCU honors his commitment like LSU did for Lowell

I wish him the best but not a chance he's back in 4 weeks
