I know it's a stretch, but is he in the same stratosphere as LF7 was when coming out of high school?

I see that 247 now has him as the number 1 back in the country. Is he better than Guice was coming out of HS?

Either way, hope he's a Tiger.

you tell me, that first run says it all. Smarts, patience, vision, agility, strength and speed.

He could definitely be in the same mold as Fournette and Guice. I would say he compares pretty well to Guice in size and running style/ability

There just aren't many guys walking around that look like Fournette haha

honestly he's pretty similar to Dalvin Cook, that being said I think he comes here. Myles has been recruiting him hard and I think they want to play together.

But I'd say he has Guices speed and isn't as elusive but he's hard to tackle in open space. And then he's got LFs acceleration. He's going to be a good one

He's very good and a smart back, can't really compare LF to him. I think he better then LF in some things and LF is better in others. They are both great backs. Akers fits perfectly into this new offense though and I think he could put up comparable number if not better numbers then LF in this offense. It frees up the RB and is built to confuse. It's going to be an exciting few years if we can keep up the recruiting on the front seven and at QB actually we could pick it up a bit at QB and at linebacker. I think they will though so we might be building something great here. We'll see

He is good enough to start day 1 at 98 percent of big time universities

Going behind guice saves that body from being brutalized and be right for the NFL

247 seems to think he's leaning FSU. Seems like he'd get buried deeper in the depth chart over there. LSU is closer to home and he'd get the same volume of carries as DWill and Brossette in his first year.

As a HS senior, he is rated as lower than LF and higher than DG. In my memory only Bryce Brown was a bust as a RB rated this high, but there is probably other examples.

He's a back you can build an offense around. That good.

VERY good, his SPARQ rating backs up that claim.

I can't watch this kids highlights. I want him to be a tiger so bad I am avoiding the excitement and possoble let down. I'd rather rage if he commits and be stoked than get too involved with the recruitment ATM.

Dude is a baller!

All these people trying to compare him with LF7 and Guice; IMO, his signature move and the way he runs is much more reminiscent of Kevin Faulk.
