If there is a receiver in America that is better than Terrace Marshall then that kid has to be a God.

Marshall scored every single TD tonight against Ouachita.

In the non-timed part of the scrimmage he ran a 10 yard hitch which Rogers threw beautifully (more on him in a minute) and well timed. After he caught the ball he made the defensive back whiff on the tackle and ran another 40 yards for the score.

He then scored from the slot in the red-zone running a post-corner which Rogers threw perfectly-yet the play was ruled a penalty on the offense.

Very next play he is in the slot and runs a slant route and Rogers throws it perfectly for the TD--this was not overturn by penalty.

When they went to the live format of the scrimmage Parkway received the ball first and on the very first play Rogers throws the ball about 50 yards on a go route to Marshall who easily got behind the defensive back and ran it in the rest of the way. Play was ran beautifully. Routes were crisp and executed flawlessly.

On their second possession of the 12 minute scrimmage on the second play from scrimmage Marshall catches a wide-receiver screen to the strong-side of the field and turned the jets on immediately once he saw a seam and outran everyone with grace for about a 70 yard touchdown.

The best receiver I have ever seen in high school was Rueben Randle at Bastrop, but this kid is faster and his routes are ran distinctly better than Randle. The sheer ease he performed was startling. It was too easy almost.

I know many here are on the fence with Rogers. I understand why. As for his performance seeing him after the camps and tutelage he has received I can say he is not just a dual-threat quarterback. Tonight he never ran the ball once. He threw multiple of varieties of passes that were all on the money. The deep post; slant; post-corner; 10 yard out; swing pass, flat, delay-flat, to running back. His timing was there along with his poise in the pocket. I was very impressed with his arm strength and his touch. He was in control and dominant the whole scrimmage.

Those two dominated this scrimmage, quite literally. They are going to light teams up this year that isn't named Evangel or Landry Walker.

They had a freshman scrimmage and Ouachita had an offensive lineman we will more than likely hear about relatively shortly. He was about 6'5 300 lbs and he moved his feet exceptionally well and was very athletic and lean. I have zero idea who he is or anything else other than he was extremely impressive. Drove his man down the line; towards the second level; he released and used his hands very well for a kid his age. Good coaching whoever is coaching him.

Anyways, that is my two cents.

Marshall and Rogers, in my view, are must gets. To see Marshall in person is the only way to do his talent justice. Kid has all the tools to be a 1st rounder one day.

The hell with Rogers anyway, he wouldnt sniff the field. Brennan and Narcisse is just fine with me. The Marshall kid is a must get tho.

I've never seen Narcisse play so I can't judge.

I am just judging off what I saw from Rogers tonight. He was dominant. His throws were very good and he has been coached up very well by someone on where to go with the ball and reading defenses. He only made one bad throw the entire night.

I saw Brandon Harris in high school also. I never was impressed with him way back then. He only threw one velocity ball and he couldn't make all the throws. He had zero touch whatsoever.

This kid is going to play and start somewhere one day with his progression. Very confident kid who is not a dual-threat qb. Can make all the throws and allows his receivers to make plays after the catch.

If he had sucked or he didn't do any of the things I saw I would surely tell you he isn't worth our time. I think he is definitely worth our time.

And Harris held him to 1 catch in the playoffs. That kid is criminally underrated.

Well, I watched that replay and Landry-Walker was on Roger's backside almost on the go after the 1st quarter. Once they got the lead they feasted on Rogers the rest of the night and Harris knew the pass was coming.

Also, Ouachita is just horrible. I mentioned how they return a lot, and they do, but they are absolutely garbage. You have no idea yet, but you will next year. Their coaching and discipline is just incredibly poor for all the coaches I saw on their sideline. Those coaches are stealing paychecks. They were exceptionally bad. I believe they lost 28-7. It would have been worse if they kept playing. Parkway scored so fast, I was like .

If I am going to say I need to see Bolden have a big game against elite teams I must say the same about Marshall. That is how bad Ouachita was.

They won't make the playoffs this year.

Yes that is him..

They shut him down last year in the quarterfinals against Parkway.

A lot of that had to do with the fact Parkway was getting smashed by the end of the 2nd quarter by 20- something odd points. After halftime Landry Walker feasted as if it was still the day before (the quarters are a day after thanksgiving).

Every route; every position on the field; he will make a play and can take it the distance. His speed is ridiculous; His acceleration is phenomenal. His hands are there; elusiveness.

I had never seen him in person. I was blown away and I have seen a shite ton of players over the last 30 years.

Guess I didn't get the memo..

It was really strange to see so many coaches on their sideline to have such an undisciplined team. I hate to say the term, but it fits here. They were thuggish in every way: taunting the Parkway players by jeering and instigating blowback; dirty play twice against two Parkway defenders. Penalties OUT THE ARSE. They 10x the penalties parkway had easily.

West Monroe will beat them by as many as they wish next year. If they want it to beat them by 50 they can and will do it.

I agree, it is such an unfair football rivalry between those schools. If both schools had the same amount of students, WM would still dominate most of the time....the difference between the staffs is astounding. But since WM has about 1200-1300 more students, the rivalry has been made extinct imo. Ouachita will never beat WM again in football, ever!!

It isn't a rivalry. That is just to sell tickets hopefully.

The real rivalry that will begin soon is between West Monroe and Landry-Walker. Both those schools will churn out top-notch ball-clubs every year for various reasons.
