He is obviously an extreme unknown considering only Rivals has him in the database and they list no teams of interest. Is there someone else at his school that we were checking out and our coaches just happened to see him and were impressed? I'm taking a wait and see approach with this one. Why do we need another blocking TE, especially a JC one, in this class? That's all we have now. Maybe he's a good pass catcher.

I respect your opinion but I absolutely love this commit. He is big, strong, and violent. He also has some quicks for a boy that big to go along with a "motor" as cliche as that sounds. I love this pick up.

Yeah based on the highlights i saw i really like the pickup...seems to love hitting folks and is a big lanky TE who would be a good play action target. Very good blocker too only problem i see would be adding weight but otherwise solid pickup IMO

Not a problem. I can't see the Hudl highlights on my phone so I have yet to see any highlights. That's the reason I am taking a wait and see approach. Don't want to judge without any info to justify it. I read the Claiborne thread last night and some of the idiotic things in that made a lasting impression.

The blocking TE part was just me piggybacking on what others had posted.

If used correctly, guys like this are mandated for a power running scheme. Similar to what Alabama did last year to great success, use these big bodies and bulldoze it down teams throats.

Our blocking te's got eaten up during spring. Sure, they were trying to block some studs, but if the 240 is old news and this guy can mash, I'm all in.

Why did he only have 4 catches all season long?

The TEs were pretty bad during the spring game, in both blocking and receiving.
