Another huge night tonight. Double digit tackles, fumble recovered for a TD, and an interception. Kid's only a sophomore and he's going to likely end the year with triple digit tackles. Future P5 player.

I think his father OR grandfather played guard for LSU in the late 60's or early 70's. Does anyone know for sure? I seem to remember that.

Dad doesn't seem big enough to have played guard. His grandfather was a great basketball coach.

Plays like a senior stud LB, what would he look like at FB? WM front seven is As good as we've seen in quite some time. You could start a thread just on their d-line as well as LB's. Seniors Garnett, Pihl, Bowmen, McCane, Barr are legit. Gullat, Adams, Collins all return.

Gullatt has played FULLBACK before & would probably make a good one in college.

His dad was a longtime Asst at ULM. Not sure what he's doing now. I really think he's a 5* in 2 years

Watch the kid play, only a sophomore. Great nose for the football and good feet. WM front seven are just plain nasty".

Dad has just been named Superintendent of Caldwell Parish Schools.

Both Grandfathers were coaches - Dad's father coached basketball and baseball in Iberville Parish (Plaquemine) - good friend of Dale Brown's; Mom's father coached in Pine/Franklinton (Terrance Magee). Family is good friends with Mingo.

Seems like LSU is either taking him for granted because of his family connections, but he's being strongly recruited by other SEC schools, so LSU should sit up and take notice! JB is a BEAST!

Exactly, everyone is in a rush and wants to know why big colleges are not offering once they get to high school. It's LSU's fault for this mentality by offering Moses and Dinkleman. Now if a kid doesn't have an offer by his sophomore year, they're pissed at the school. Not saying that's the case with JB. He's a great kid, never heard a bad word spoken about him. Speaking generally about multiple kids I've talked with the last few years.
