Oliver Lawerence has done well for himself in real estate and auto sales and lives in a $1.7 million house in Ashland, Virginia.

That is great news for LSU; he is accomplished and successful and his only agenda will be to support his nephew, not try to steer him somewhere for personal gain.

Why was coach O in Monroe? Thought we were in a dead period?

Straight from a Neville asst coach.....unless something unforeseen happens, RL is LSU's to lose

Also, from a buddy that coaches at Bastrop, Isaiah Graham is working his tail off for an LSU offer. That's where he wants to be

Good to hear on Rashard. Would be nice for Graham to get that last spot. Hope he earns it because it's great to have all the LA talent come to LSU and represent the state even further

Wait, you can build relationships with coaches even when you can't talk to a player or when they don't have a player we want?

Despite what people think the people in Monroe that are involved in recruiting and representing pro-athletes are very much pro-lsu. Ultimately, there are a lot of people that get involved in these high profile recruits and that involvement crosses state lines

Yeah, Ive heard about one guy in particular.

My aunt is married to one of his uncles. He says they think he will get lost in the shuffle at LSU. I said he will basically be the man his sophomore year and it would be the best spot for immediate playing time.

Lost in the shuffle? Sounds like garbage to me. He would play his Freshman season and potentially be a starter by the second season.

A talent like him should be able to show out and not be scared of competition. If anything, all that talent around you makes you better in practice every day and in games.

That's the same way I feel. I don't think the competition thing is an issue. I think scheme and his DL coach will play the biggest part. LSU will allow him to play the 3-technique, and with coach O being his position coach, I love our chances.

And he won't get "lost in the shuffle" at Bama? The competition there will be every bit as tough as at LSU.

Except there they compete to see who can take up the most blocks. While here the competition will be who can rush the passer.
