Apologies I thought you meant from start of senior year to freshman year.

All things considered he can still gain 30 lbs from now until he arrives at LSU.

Why are you saying this kid has to gain 30 lbs between senior year of high school football and college?

He hasn't even started his senior year yet and he is 6'2 190 right now, have you seen his frame? 25-30 lbs is doable from now to freshman year.

You actually said multiple times that you weren't saying he didn't need to gain the weight. And the whole 15x2 comparison post is dumb. Arden already had almost the perfect frame to fill out, he just needed the right nutrition and strength plan. Also, sometimes it's easy for people to put on 10-15 pounds, but then they hit a wall and can't seem to gain more. Everyone is different.

What is said about him? Are we bringing him in? Is he a 2017 recruit or 2016? Who cares right at this time his weight. We need backs. He doesn' look that bad.

Never mind. For 2018. Hell he'll be up to 210 by that time.

Jimmy indicated he thought LSU would possibly be interested in him and possibly in contact soon. Guess we will have to see in the next few weeks. he is 2018. He was discussing potential RB's for 2018 on 104.5 yesterday. Maybe he will post something regarding that.

Thanks, moonlight. I am not sure if the thread said 2018 and I didn't read it all. But the talk turned to weight. And he has many months to improve that 190 lb frame. Thanks again

Adding 25-30 lbs of muscle in a year is doable, but it would put muscle strength ahead of tendons holding them to bone.
Too much risk for multiple tendon injuries.

Slow and steady wins the race

Obviously you haven't seen Tony St. Juliens frame. As stated earlier, it is not outside of the realm of possibility for this kid to add 25-30 lbs as long as he can maintain speed.

Guys, I'm his position Coach...he is a receiver that we played a RB for the last 2 years because of our limitations throwing the ball.

He is strong and fast, but he will not be adding 25-30 pounds in the next year. His frame can take it, but it's not going to happen in a year.

So is he a RB at the next level? Or sign and place ATH?
