How many times are you going to post this and on how many boards?

GAbluedog,

I only posted it twice, once on the SEC rant and once here. Is there something wrong with that? It is being discussed on TI right now and that is why I mentioned it.

I can promise you not many of us are sweating Landry right now... if our offense looks putrid then we will start worrying some, but until then we really have no reason to worry. He said he would take visits and that is what he is doing.

Maybe there is fire to this. Maybe Jarvis wants to play in the NFL, and realizes it may be easier reached being a safety and playing for Saban, just like Jeremy Hill, will see the writing on the wall and be a LB

So the Scout #7 and Rivals #2 ranked WR should be a safety now? I doubt that.

I'm okay with us losing some guys here and there but I will be pretty sick about losing Landry to anyone, especially bama or florida, if that happens. this is a guy that i really can't wait to see in a tiger uniform.

Nobody cares where scout and rivals ranks or even predicts where a kid will play. So yes, maybe he has a better future at safety then as a receiver. Are you saying there is anything wrong with that? Or you just bow down to what recruiting sites say and think?

No I'm saying where did u get the from, because thats the 1st damn time I've ever heard ANYONE project him at safety. I'm not bowing down to nobody, your position you're projecting him to makes no sense. The kid blew up every camp he went to last year, before his Junior year.

have you seen what the guy can do with the ball in his hands? he'll play WR in college and in the NFL.

he's an absolute natural at it. his skills are college-ready as is.

Jarvis is NOT a lock to go to LSU. He really likes Oregon, has for a couple years now. For those who say it's not up for debate as to where he goes, you're wrong. This could all be moot because there's a great chance that he doesn't make the grades and will go JUCO. Although he is committed to raising his grades this year.

I know a lot of coaches that believe he can be more of an impact if he committed to the defensive side of the ball. Seeing 4 of his games last year i can tell you he has a defensive mentality. Now, im not saying the kid isnt a hell of a high school receiver/athlete cause he is. Im just saying there's more to his game then what you see on his highlight video's.

For you to say it makes no sense then you obviously havent seen or maybe not even knew he played defense.

Well, at a minimum, you don't often see the #2 rated WR in the country switch to safety. So, it is a bit of a stretch.

Landry could play either WR or DB. In fact, I bet he would be a great defender secondary to being a mean mofo. That dude likes to knock the snot out of people.

I agree totally with that if your Randle, Tolliver, Doucet, Clayton, guys coming into LSU . Those guys werent 5'11 180 either.

However, when Saban, was recruiting our linebacker the year Clayton came out he truly thought he was a All American safety and a St martinville assistant coach said they thought same of Doucet. Yes, there both in NFL, but it doesnt mean they couldnt be succesfull other posistions.

All im saying is i think he can be more impact at 195 in two years being Eric Berry type, then he will being a wide receiver, Just mine and several people's opinion. Im in no way trying to cheapen what he does at the WR position.
