With him decommitting from FSU and UGA just landing Zamir White, do we still have a chance at Cook?

Not really. Georgia appears to be in really good shape. Still hasn't even visited LSU and we have three backs committed already

He ain't coming to LSU, let's just move on. Plus he is a 4* RB. We only take the 3* around here.

You guys bitch we take too many RBs when the state is stacked for next year then also bitch when we don't go crazy trying to get every out of state 4 star. Make up your minds. Ever think maybe O is making sure we have depth after this year with sure thing commitments so he can take more chances next year with top talent? We are in a good position at RB regardless.

Bad attitude and disrespectful for his age, if you've never met him

Thank you.

Don't know if CEO has a master plan, I'm assuming he does. But regardless, the sentiment is what I'm thanking you for.

Something many of us forget, recruiting is a 3 yr campaign in modern CFB. You have to consider what's coming next year, and what you got last year. With 85 schollies it's just a fact of life.

He's a 4star because of his last name. Nobody on this forum would be wetting their self for LSU landing a 188lb RB that runs a 4.7 40. He's actually interchangeable with Provens at this point......James IS NOT Dalvin, not even close

UGA got two top 7 RBs in 2012 (including #1 RB)
UGA got two top 5 RBs in 2014 (both 5 stars)

And they still can't win the SEC lately or a national championship in a generation. You guys underestimate our RB's committed.

What does that have to do with anything in this thread? He thinks UGA having Zamir White will do anything to keep Cook from not commiting to them. I've stated that they've done this exact same thing in the past.

I really like Curry myself (glad so many are underestimating him), but I do think Carter is just a depth back.

LSU will be fine at RB next year. I do not want to scare off Emery and I don't want Davis to start looking around because we recruited 3 RBs in the previous class. If one was a surefire star in our 2018 batch like Lorenzo Lingard going to Miami, I could take losing one in 2019, but we can't lose either of these guys next year.

Stars are overrated! A kid may be an incredible player, but maybe he's a thug, won't qualify or maybe he's a highly rated player because the magazine or website wants to sell more subscriptions to a certain fan base! It's recruiting and there is nothing honest about the recruiting process!

A highly regarded recruit isn't going to care about the number of bodies on the depth chart. He will think (and be told by coaches) he is better than all the other RBs on the roster.

Quit being a whinny arse and wetting your pink panties about 3 star players. Change your pads as Curry just got a 4th star!

Yeah seems like top rb's dont shy away from other top Rb's at other universities. At LSU, we have a chance of no returning star RB ,for 2018, yet they still elect to go elsewhere. i thought we hired some top recruiter rb coach. Fingers crossed we get an elite guy for this RB class.
