The minute I saw that video of Chase working out at his HS, him and his coach doing those interviews I was sold on Chase. He is the prototypical LSU WR. Exactly what you want starting on your team. I would go all in for Chase and Marshall, try to pick up Keys or Bolden or both as well. That would be a tremendous haul. You've got leadership, size, speed, hands, route running and a WR/RB all there. Hope the RB from MS cleans his academics up soon then commits to take Carters spot. I liked Carter too though.

Which video was it?

Chase got a huge bump in the 247 rankings today as well. Up to 23 overall (I think? It was somewhere in the low 20s).

Several on here were saying he was the best WR at the opening. It's good he's getting recognized for that.

I was at the VP camp.I think we have a chance to switch him but it's going to be tough a lot of State people around him plus his mom is a pretty big State fan because of Dak.He has very good ball skills but he isn't the fastest kid around.Put it like this Heath is the same player as Jason but a little behind him as a player.

The best player at the camp that day was the OT committed to State that Bama is trying to switch.I've never seen a kid 360pds move like that kid before. He doesn't have a LSU offer but he needs one badly!

Do you recall what number he had on? I did the height and one of the guys was 6'8 wondering if that is him. There was a shorter guy who played center and guard who was holding his own against everyone during the 1v1's looked damn good but had only one or two offers. 19' class I believe and I thought the same for Heath. Kid had good hands but pushed off or would've had PI called on almost every pass. And had a mouth bigger than Texas. I don't see us having much of a shot for him and I think chase and Marshall are better prospects

why? Bama has only a few recruits then all of a sudden this guy postponed everything and Bama shows up in his new list. Someone has been calling him.

Davonte Jason, Jamar Chase and Terrence Marshall need to be top priority. We have the recievers we need in state, the out of state guys should be back burner.

Had to be Kwatrivous Johnson. He just accepted an invite to the UA AG and the pic he used was at the camp.

While Chase was down to two choices earlier this week, he’ll use his new timeline for considering two more SEC powers: Florida and Georgia.

That's him and yea he is like 6'8.First time seeing the kid up close and he moves like a DE.That kid is going to be a high NFL draft pick one day.Just don't see 6'8 350pd OL's move like that kid.

He sounded pretty locked in with State but I'd throw a offer at him just to see.

Completely agree with that statement! And that's who I was thinking of he absolutely dominated his group! His form was perfect and was just all over every kid he faced no matter what move they tried or anything he was on top of it. Would love to see an offer thrown his way
