I think LSU is fine at DB but impact players at other positions is where the remaining Scholarships need to be used.

You are a child if you don't know what UT is or can be. That is one of the top 4 jobs in this country arguably top 2. They are LOADED with talent from Charlie Strong who was a great recruiter. They have an excellent coach in Herman that can call offenses and he has an good defensive coordinator. That team by the end of the season will be competing for the Big 12 title and a bid to a major bowl. My guess is they only have 3 losses at the end of the season and one is to USC.

Loaded? Do you follow recruiting? I love Charlie strong as a coach but they aren't loaded. It's not like he didn't recruit but loaded is a bit of an overstatement. They aren't ready to beat the world based on what Charlie left them. Not really Charlie's fault either.

Herman might turn out to be a great coach. Only time will tell. But from watching him at Houston, I can tell you he's got some pretty big flaws when it comes to clock and end of half management. Just a matter of whether he can learn from his mistakes.

With Stoops out of the picture they will be the dominant team in that conference within a few years. Our fan base likes to go out of their way to shite on Herman in order to justify Alleva's ineptitude, but it won't take long to see what we missed out on.

Maybe so. Lucky break for UT. I don't get what that has to do with how successful he would have been at LSU or if he can win a championship there. No doubt he's killing it in recruiting, but he does have flaws, which all of the Herman supporters don't seem to care about. He's young though, so maybe he learns and improves. I was equally fine with Herman or Orgeron, so I only hope he fails because we've been able to get a lot of great recruits from Texas lately and Texas being good will probably hurt our recruiting there.

charlie got us two top ten recruiting classes. id say we were sitting ok. i love it when some of you goons just hate on herman for no reason. this is his first real recruiting class and it will be top 5. maybe even top 3. so just wait and see iif herman can deliver. we gonna be ok.

What the frick you taking about? I think Herman is killing it in recruiting so far and I never said strong didn't recruit well.

Well you're on an LSU board first off. Texas has no reason to not get the top in state talent. Texas has to win this season or kids will go out of state like last year.
