- Beckham is featured on Madden 16, and the initial demo start of the game is full of LSU players.

- You see Patrick Peterson everywhere these days. And he gives love to LSU a lot.

- Jeremy Hill is now viewed as an elite back and mentioned often as coming from Baton Rouge.

- LSU currently has more talent in the NFL than any other team. NBC recently wrote an article about this:

- Leonard Fournette. I live in Norman, OK, yet he is all people have been talking about here the past 24 hours.

We've got it good friends, and this incredible exposure for the program will pay dividends for years to come by way of incoming talent. And I didn't even mention that we have arguably the best recruiting staff in the country.

Didn't realize it had reached that level honestly with my slightly-negatiger P&G glasses I always picture LSU as being considered the next challenger to ________, never considered the incumbent by the media.

Throw in Minter and I think the soon to be raved about Kwon Alexander, and it is crazy. Honey Badger gets bragged on regularly too.

It would be nice if the NFL hadn't backed off putting players college/hometown on most things. Years ago, anytime their name showed up it was listed right along side it. It hasn't gone away, but there's a lot less now.

As always, playing in the SEC-W, LSU will get their chance to shine on national TV. Here's to capitalizing on it this year!

ETA: now Will Farrell is tweeting out vines of LF7. And he led the USCw team onto the field.

I would guess that maybe 90% of the dorks that are playing these game don't even know what college these players are from.

Nope, but recruits that play these games sure as hell do.

What about all of the former LSU athletes in the media right now. Ryan Clark, Marcus Spears, Booger.

Hershel, Barry Sanders, Adrian, Bo Jackson...Aren't these guys all still alive. How can they all be "once in a lifetime"? These guys have all played during my lifetime.

That's true. I never thought LF would be as dominant as he is. He looks just like he did in high school, maybe even better. It's just ridiculous.

Then we'll get to see Ben Simmons pulling an LF on the basketball court. He'll single handedly get us on national TV at least 3 more times this season, which is huge.

Jarvis Landry just set a Miami Dolphins record of quickest receiver ever to 100 catches, too

You have to be successful before you can get a gig in the media. These guys were successful in college and in pros as well. Tebow is widely popular. Greg McElroy may be an exception and he has a NC to his credit.

For other team's players to make an impact they need NCs or successful pro careers.

I know people will bitch about CBS games til the end of time but the bottom line is there is a huge visibility advantage to being on network TV at a time when there aren't any other big games on. Plus we are 11-0 in home day games since 2010.
