Just saw where he committed to TCU.From Bastrop LA. Did we not make a push for him? Didn't want him? Or what?

Graham wanted an offer, but we have higher WR's on our board.

The better question is why didn't Moo U or Arkansas get him? It's pretty bad that TCU can come to North LA and beat them out for a guy.

Why would you want to be in Fayetteville or Starkville competing for 4th place in the SEC when you can go be close to Dallas and top ten in the country?

Very short lived situation at TCU, imho.

I was about to say something similar. I'm glad he can go to a winning program (in another conference). Louisiana puts out tons of athletes yearly, and we can't take them all.

Nah. high powered offense rule the Big 12 and TCU will have one of the best for years to come. You do know they picked up a 5 star dual threat for 2017 right? They have a nice one recruited this year too, along with picking up Kenny Hill from TAMU. If he can get his drinking problem in order, he'll be great for TCU.

They'll also be able to load up on WRs like Baylor does. As a matter of fact, they have 2 top 230 recruits at WR and the #1 JUCO WR.

Also the reason why their defense is so bad this year is because they lost a ton of starters to injury and at least one to suspension. Last year they had the #18 total defense and the 8th scoring defense. That is some high level defense considering they play a shite ton of high powered offenses. Last year they played the #1, #10, #12, #24 offenses in the country. Four of the top 25 and 2 of the top 10 including the #1 offense.

Patterson knows defense and he has been doing it forever. He adapted incredibly quick to the Big 12 realizing the pro style was not the way to go.

TCU has been good for a long time and will continue to be. It all starts with Patterson. He is one of the best coaches in college football.

Patterson has been the coach at TCU for 15 seasons. This is number 16. He has ten top 25 finishes and four top 10 finishes. His overall record is 140-45.

TCU has set up shop in North LA. The kids that LSU passes on, have been finding a home in Fort Worth for a while now. Graham isn't the first and won't be the last prospect from this area to commit to them.

If you follow the WR's Cameron and Ball are recruiting, they are tall/long WR's, 6'3" or better.

LSU can't take every top recruit in the state, but at the same time the LSU fan base should understand that not every top recruit in the state desires to go to LSU. I've been watching the Graham kid since his sophomore year, and have talked to him at a few camps. He's a remarkable kid and damn good athlete. I'm not sure why LSU passed on him, but he received 20 or more offers from some of the top programs in the nation. So I don't think he lost any sleep by not receiving one from LSU. In my opinion I don't think he would have committed anyway, there are too many receivers not being used and how many are committed for the 2016 class. Best of luck to the kid, TCU has received a good one!

Some of those receivers are sub-par to Graham in my opinion. Tony Ball was really high on this kid wanted him bad from what I was told. He'd started evaluating Graham while at Georgia. Graham was destined for TCU, he's a perfect fit for their offense.

WR is simply not a big need in this class and we're pretty much only going after tall guys like Anderson, Sullivan, Coxie & Davis. He wants some height in the receiving corps since Dupre and Dural will be gone in the next 2 years and both are 6'3 or so.

Graham is a good player but I cant honestly say I'd definitely take him over any other guy we're after. Just that kind of year for us. Coxie to me is a guy with a lot of upside at his size. The only thing he really lacks is top end speed, but catches EVERYTHING thrown his way which is something we need on this tram with all the drops by well, everyone. Coxie has been all about LSU since day 1 too, dude is die hard.

Makes sense Thunderbird, didn't look at it from that perspective. Graham is 6'1 I think, the kid will do well at TCU. From the articles I've read he's very happy with his decision.
