it depends on if his eligibility started when enrolled early. Having him leave before the season ever started and Gunner Kiel transferring to nearly every D1 school in the country has a lot to do with our QB problems.

I though since he started school that summer semester before fall camp, his clock started. Wouldn't he be ineligible?

No. I think you have 10 semesters to get in 4 years, unless theres a grant such as a medical redshirt. Its not like a ticking clock, unless you're in school of course.
