Will we take Mcmath as a 4th receiver now that smith is going elsewhere? I would love to have him in this class.

We were supposedly taking two WRs and now have three. So I'm guessing we are full at WR. It sucks for McMath but he will land at a quality school.

Eh, not really. Ever heard of a "commitable offer"?

Once D Smith commits to Bama in mid August, LSU will officially call it a day a reciever. They need to cash in and save their efforts to recruit linebackers

That's what I was thinking, but Mcmath is a stud and I would hate to lose him to someone we play every year.

I understand you and I definitely wanted him in this class, but unless somebody decommits at WR, he'll have to sign somewhere else.

For the past three years we have tried to land 4 WRs in each class. I have no freaking idea why since we are yearly ranked in the hundreds in pass attempts per game (since 2009 we have ranked 99th or worse), but that is a topic for another board. In 2014 Dupre, Quinn, Chark, and tried to get Speedy or Duke. In 2015, Johnson, Dillion, Ferguson, and had Martin who went JUCO. In 2016, Davis, Anderson, Sullivan, and had Coxie who went JUCO. Now 2017 with Ausbon, Guidry, Netherly, and trying to get Smith.

Yeah. I would like to see us focus on keeping the receivers we have committed and going after a LB or OL we don't currently lead for, like Browning or Leatherwood.

Kid fits right in with all the type of receivers they have been bringing in lately. Great big size and can fly! Make it purple reign Craig!

Another monster game for McMath vs Brother Martin this time. I'm definitely on the bandwagon.

Idk how well he catches or how good he runs routes but physically you can't build a better looking WR and he runs the ball like a RB

I've been on the bandwagon, but we have no room unless a WR decommits. We need DE and LB in this class. We definitely need ILBs as I think White and Alexander, will be the only ones on roster next year .

I have a feeling they only take 4 LBs this class. They're kinda stacked at Field LB with Divinity and Thornton. Sci Martin at Buck behind Arden Key with Andre Anthony red shirting.

I think their targets are Moses and Allen, I think Aranda plays both guys inside and out...and Chaisson as a Buck LB. I really like Markaviest Bryant as a Buck LB too, don't think Bama has room for him and I think UGA is slow playing him.

Yeah if we don't sign this kid, he will be a star somewhere else in the SEC.
