Is it possible LSU will hold off on taking Jardin Gilbert

...until they know for sure Jacoby Matthews is off the table? Jacoby did take Jardin's spot after his injury. Can't imagine they'd transfer to the same place.

It’s their money year, they have to both want to bounce. A&M is going to be really bad next year

LSU is not in a position to turn away talent like Gilbert nor Matthews
Demani Richardson was a 5th year senior that started all five years at the other safety spot
Then Bryce Anderson played nickel/safety for them as well
A&M had talent at those positions. Just sucked at corner
Gilbert is more like a center fielder safety while Jacoby can play more in the box and guard TEs
I think they’d be an ideal pairing
