Is Cabrera still committed to LSU Baseball?

Yes. My cousin is good friends with him (same school, play ball together). He told me rumor is his parents have money and want him to go to college and have the experiences of a young adult going through college. Education is very important to them and they are really wanting him at LSU.

That's the latest update I got. That being said, my cousin and I still think a 1st or 2nd round pick/signing bonus could change his parent's minds. I hope not, but it's hard to turn down a lot of money, especially since if he doesn't work out, he can always go back to school with money in pocket. But from everything he's told everyone and what his parents have said, he'll be enrolling at LSU. Don't know if that's just talk or truth, only time will tell.

If he has signability concerns then he's going to fall far and they will try to sign him with whatever money they saved by signing guys under slot. If someone really likes him it pearson they will probably pick them 2nd round

My stepson just graduated with him and they're good friends. He's going to LSU. No further discussion.
