I know we have had a few decommitments lately, and I’m not trying to be a negatiger, but are we leading in some different areas?

The class just doesn’t seem to be what we need to consistently be at the top of the conference.

I remember people complaining about this time last season about the recruiting class for 2023. This whole catastrophe syndrome stuff is getting really old.

I expect to go all-in on 1 Texas prospect ala' Perkins a couple of years ago. Reality is we aren't going to get in a bidding war for a bunch of 5* kids out of Texas (or Georgia). I expect the staff to focus on one and put all the NIL efforts in that endeavor. I also think NIL funds will be focused on the DL from Acadiana and the DB from Ehret.
I'm not sweating some 3* DB, oh wait now he's a 4*, from out-of-state that are a dime a dozen and there are just as good prospects in-state.

We are getting ready for the season. BK and the other coach's focus is being shifted for the time being. It will shift back when it matters and we will pull the guys back in that we want. The TE that de-committed was rumored to be processed due to the Juco guy that committed. We've had more commitments than decommitments.

A lot of top tier talent seems to be wait and see who throws the biggest bag. Then you can go through the portal. Gone are the days of knowing 90% of your class in august when scholarships are officially sent out.

Texas fans saying Sark stuffing BK in a locker with recruiting. Laughable.

That's cute. Unfortunately Sark is getting stuffed in a locker on the field by teams like Kansas and West Virginia...

And Sark still has the SEC to look forward to.

2024 might kick him off the wagon.

That’s right Houston, North Carolina and UCF are no threats - but we need to close on some of these blue chippers, we still got time, 10 days last year from now we got a 5* & 6 4*s in the first few days of July

You should follow recruiting more. It’s not over till signing day. LSU Baseball just won a National Championship, the LSU Women’s Basketball, same thing.

What school is getting more talk right now? Kelly did a great job taking 38 scholarship players and remolding a roster. To get 10 wins, beat bama, go to a major bowl and win the SEC West, win the Bowl game. You think Kelly’s not going to build on this? Please, sit back and enjoy.

We are ranked 9 in recruiting. We keep falling down the list by big numbers.

Alabama is #27 on 247, A&M is #22.

The season hasn’t even started. We all want to compete with UGA, we all want more 5 stars, but it is June/July. Let things play out. Let Gordon get it done.

You worrywarts who think a coach is losing his touch in late June need to just hold on and be patient.

Wait until early signing period the third week of December.

LSU is the most talked about school in the country right now. Seriously look around. We did wayyyyyy over expectations last year in football, won the Natty in womens basketball and just did the same in baseball. Calm down and relax. There is plenty of top notch talent in the country that want to come to LSU. Plus... it is super early. Alabama isnt even in the top 25 right now in recruiting, neither is most of the other big dogs except for Georgia. And they won the national championship. We are top 10. It is super early. We will be fine. Relax and take it all in.
