Reda was addressing the prevailing myth among some LSU fans who are very vocal, that Les doesn't do anything right and that he wins 80% of his games with luck.

He was actually complimenting Les while taking a swipe at his critics for being completely wrong.

LSU needs low-oxygen chambers, make it happen.

Ive said this for a while now. It's not as easy as people think. shite cincinatti has better facilities than we do. We have great ones dont get me wrong, but so do a bunch of other schools.

He (Les) goes to bed every night in a state that produces (per capita) more prospects than any other state and has no in-state competition.

LA had 11 players drafted this year, Florida had 44. Per capita is a bull shite argument. go ahead and only take LA players, we would be mediocre real quick. Plus you have to look at his early years dealing with a non existing new orleans area due to the hurricanes.

Coach Hallman is all you need to know about how a HC can kill recruiting.

Which LSU facilities are lacking? We just redid the locker room and weight room, correct?

Yes, the stadium locker room was redone.

None are lacking, just need to be revamped.

i guess i dont mean lacking either, but we just redid some things so that helps. The practice facility was built in 1991, that was a long time ago. Now some teams didnt even have them until recently but they are getting brand new state of the art facilities while we are still working with some that have been on campus for two decades.

Our facilities should be second to none. We certainly make enough money. I don't mind paying through the nose for tickets and donations as long as the money is used to make sure the best product is put on the field. I am OK with the state not paying for athletics, but athletic dept. money should not have to be used to fund education. Most teams receive money from the state. Here the state receives money from the team.
