In your opinion is Marshall as highly regarded @ Malachi & Rueben Randall were?

I'd say he is in between Ruben and Chi. I believe he is a bit faster than both though.

Should be higher rated than Dupree. Probably in Randall's class.

He's just a hair lower than randle right now in the rankings. Reuben finished top 3 overall in his class. Marshall is every bit as good though.

He's probably higher than both when all is said and done. He can be a Julio Jones talent IMO...

I agree with this. Just below Randall.

Not better than Rueben, but better than Malachi. That's just my opinion though.

Coming out of high school...Randall was ranked #2 overall by some recruiting services.

He's a complete wideout. and should finish the year out as a top 10 overall player. I'd say similar to Randle.

Dupre was overrated, his rating was all on potential because he came out of a run based high school offense which was rarely realized.

Randle remember played QB his last year in high school, so he wasn't as polished coming in as he could have been. Randle was a great athlete but I think Marshall will be better coming in than he was. Marshall has legit destroyed anyone and everyone at camps he's been to.

Randle was the #1 WR by the NFL standards coming out of HS.

REMEMBER RUEBEN WAS IN THE LES MILES SYSTEM SO HE DIDN'T PUT UP THE NUMBERS HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BUT I THINK WITH OUR NEW SYSTEM TERRANCE MARSHALL WILL HAVE A BETTER COLLEGE CAREER AND THEN EXCEL IN THE NFL

Did Randle play WR in high school?
I recalled that he played QB mostly and his ratings were based mostly on athletic ability....

While Mackey was there he was a WR. Once Mackey graduated, Randle played QB.

I'd rank them:

Randle

Marshall

Dupre

Never thought he was as good as his ranking coming from Curtis. Not to say he wasn't good, but he wasn't the 2nd best WR in the nation.

Let me clear this up a bit.

I watched Rueben Randle play multiple times in high school.

I never saw Malachi Dupre play.

So, I can only juxtapose Randle and Marshall.

Marshall is faster and runs better routes along with better hands than Randle.

Randle was a better athlete and quicker. Randle was the best high school football player I have ever seen in person, but he wasn't the best receiver.

Marshall is a better receiver prospect as of today. Watching him in his spring scrimmage against Ouachita was a sight to behold on all levels of the postion. He was bigger than last year and was extremely physical (something he lacked supposedly last year).

If we go by receiver alone, I am saying Marshall is more polished and knows the position better at this time than Randle did when he was a Senior.

Randle was an athlete first and foremost. His abilities were criminally underused here at LSU. A tragedy at every level of the offensive staff down. Kickoff return; punt return; wild cat. He had all the tools and never was utilized to his full potential. Sad story.
