Huh, Sicboy? I just wrote a post touting LSU as DBU -- so that makes no sense...

I cover Alabama but LSU is DBU, imo. I don't do biased material. I only write what I feel...

Wasn't paying attention and didn't know you were the OP, but

quote:

I cover Alabama and they wholeheartedly believe they are DBU.

you can understand how that could be misunderstood

Not really.

"I cover Alabama" = I get paid to write about the Crimson Tide.

"THEY wholeheartedly believe THEY are DBU" = that fanbase believe they own the title of DBU as they've told me thousands of times on some of my articles...

Awesome write up and breakdown. Admittedly, I don't know jack about technique, but you broke it down well for a lay person. Also, don't forget about Ron Brooks on your list of DB's playing in the Peterson/Matheiu era. He's having a nice little career in Buffalo.

STM, I can't believe I forgot about Brooks! That was my dude. He may have been the fastest Tiger not named Peterson, too. And yes, he's doing his thing in Buffalo and will now get to learn from the very best in Rex Ryan!

Thanks for the heads up, and thanks for the props on the article.

Very nice breakdown sir. We all knew this young man was a heckuva recruit but you highlighted very well why he is such a valuable addition to DBU. Thank you and have a great day....

Never that, team LSU! My schedule keeps me busy but whenever I can I make sure to hop on TD to see what you dudes are up to. I appreciate the look and props, too.

TT, you aren't lying about him being a heckuva recruit. I love to see places where a certain position shines be able to continue that tradition. I think this is the right kid for the job. Steele's going to love this kid.

Very nice breakdown. In your opinion, how does he compare to Vernon Hargreaves of UF?

I don't see much Hargreaves in him as far as style, bro. But I think he's as talented. Hargreaves is a technician and I see some of that in Toliver. But those long arms and extra 3" in height, for Toliver, means something when we're talking about schemes.

Hargreaves is phenomenal in the mold of Revis. Toliver could be is counterpart in more of the Sherman mold if played right. Meaning he could excel in zone like Sherman where his length would come into play...

Great write-up... that first play against Lane is sick! He sure has some incredible skills, can't wait to see him play!

Thanks, R2B! Yeah that play had a difficulty level of 10 factoring-in the opponent and the leverage lost...I can't wait to see him in action, as well. It's not out of the realm of possibility he procures a starting job, imo...

Great article Bro! Do you have a source for the first clip you have (KT vs Ermon Lane)? I'm looking for that entire 1v1 segment.
