But if Louisiana gets raided again like this next year. LSU could be in trouble going forward. The only way to keep bama out is to beat them. It was predicted early on that alot of top prospects would leave the state so not really that disappointed. We still have some out of state prospects but O better start rebuilding that fence and what i mean by that is no more 8-4 seasons and beating alabama.

We're finishing Top 5

If that's terrible, then you need a new hobby

We can't always rely on going out of state to get talent. Regardless if we finish 1st or 25th we have to put the fence up.

And how long now has Saban been taking top talent to Alabama? Years of Les have stained this product. I think we will finish just fine in recruiting and our new coaching staff will leave a modern day finish on this LSU brand.

Les is gone

The vibe around LSU is better than its been in years.

We've got two of the best coordinators in CFB.

And yet, we still have "fans" like you....stfu

Could be? Are you kidding yourself? The program has been sliding back wards since 2012, this is just a snowball rolling down hill that is getting bigger and bigger.

So the fence is down. Got it. So we finish 6th or 7th instead of 5th. Still pretty good. Right?

Who honestly thought we would finish with a top 10 class in the midst of this shite show of a season?

But would we have a better team with Les as the head coach?

I really doubt this Les was starting to be exposed due to the last few seasons and it would have been the same with the threat of him being fired again. If we finish top 10 i will be happy but going forward LSU had better prove they can compete for titles or these top prospects will continue to commit to other top programs

If this class has holes in it, then it's a useless statement, and it won't be the 1st time within the last few year where a Top 5-10 class had holes in it.

After reading that Bama is allowed to pay a $600/month stipend vs. $300 that LSU is allowed to pay its student athletes, it's a wonder we ever win any recruiting battle vs. Bama. I don't understand why Bama is allowed to pay so much more. Just doesn't seem to be justified. ...

I'm a Les fan but I think CEO has a better chance of changing the Monroe culture. I think this season is key. If we have a good season recruits will have more confidence CEO can deliver on the field.

Top 5 sounds good until you know remember you have to play the team that is #1 every year.
