I mean the blitzing, the different looks. I believe Dave A. has brought the defense back to tier 1. Recruits should be happy with what they have seen.

They are t next level but they are close. A little more depth and development in the scheme and they will get there.

Also, you're...

yeah its funny the Dl, and LB's are looking pretty good but what i thought would have been the strong point the Db's look to be the ones having some issues. Whether it be not locating the ball or blown coverages. We are close though as you said.

Maybe they're thinking and not playing with instincts. New Scheme, and T White isn't on the WR1, you have a sophomore out there.

The d has been on the field too much. Seems to get weaker at the end of games. Should improve a lot as the season goes and will be dominant if we can start really winning the time of possession

As the defense gets better, the offense will have more plays to run.

Remember the year LSU beat State 45-0?
That defense was lights out.

When we made that drive from our own 1, our defense came back refreshed. They looked really good. MSU made some lucky arse plays.

I agree.
Refs made some timely calls that helped MS.

The sell is convincing kids we'll keep this D staff intact, with all the coaching uncertainty.

Arden Key with 5 sacks though 3 games is exactly the playmaking Aranda wants to showcase.

If this coming year's recruiting class holds together and finishes as many think it will, you will see a top ranked defense pretty soon...jmho

Beckwith is playing at a 1 round level as well. Aranda was a killer sign

We're also hardly blitzing at all right now. That being said, the D is playing really good and has gotten better each week.
