Long, physical OLB with good burst speed. Ours if we want him.

We should get his commitment now. Let the chips fall where they may after him.

I sure hope we want him. Dude looks like he has a motor that doesn't quit, speed to cover receivers out of the backfield and the size and strength to play DE on passing downs.

Heard his coach said he has a great motor and a very good work ethic. Why wouldn’t LSU want him??

Numbers. Under the presumption Hampton, Lee, Williams are in, say all 3 DL want in, there isnt room. Thats presuming hes next in line. Could be Randolph. Hes likely a guy we call on signing day or whenever 1 target lets us know hes not coming.

This is what I expect.

Hampton signs. Williams signs. Lee signs. All of these guys are on board now.

If all three linemen want in. The class is a done deal. Assuming Parker is out. I imagine Ish will be ours. That’s 23. If Moore comes that’s 24. If Young stays Bama, I think we will get Garman Randolph. If we land 2 of the 3 d-linemen, I would rather take Garmn Randolph than Fanua for the 25th spot.

If the Fonua kid can rush the passer then he needs to be in the class over another TE.

I’d still prefer 2DL and a Parker with his head screwed on right myself.

I’m with you on Parker, I want to keep him, but doesn’t look good.

You would rather take Fanua over Randolph, even if we land 2 d-linemen? I would only say take Randolph over Fanua if we get 2 of the linemen. Only 1 and I could see us landing both Fanua and Randolph.

I agree with this. I like Randolph, but I love Fonua and I think he's a position of greater need.

I believe Ok State might have something to say about Fonua. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Fonua jump on them instead of risk waiting things out with LSU to be the last man in the class. I would rather Randolph anyway if we land a couple DL. Randolph is already 6’6” 235 as an incoming freshman who may not be done growing yet. That kind of size at TE can cause all kinds of mismatches for defenses over the middle one day.
