What he does that I like is catch the ball and go straight up. He doesn't feel the need to bring the ball down or put it on the floor and try to dribble every time. Too many big men don't know how to catch and go up with the shot.

I thank God guys like you arent running our scout team.

Says the guy that mentions Darcy Malone like he is an actual contributor. Second off, Elbert hasn't played a single second of college basketball. So let's go with Victor and Epps as our centers right?

We don't need anymore big slow guys like this one.

Then why did we take Victor? GP has the same, if not more, athleticism than Victor does

if after watching that video you can say this guy is faster and more athletic than Victor, you should stop watching basketball.

Sorry, forgot Elbert played garbage minutes that will go a long way in shoring up our low-post depth

You mean the 6'9" Victor who can barely dunk and get off the ground? Again, you keep adding faster, which yeah, Victor may be. Athletically, no but nice try

Albeit that video is from 2013 and after watching some of his highlights with Pathanaikos he looks like he redifined his body and is much more athletic...and although he will never be a great athlete like people such as Dwight Howard and Deondre Jordan it looked seemed like he had a high basketball iq, understanding angles and floor spacing. Something that we will need with these elite players coming in. He reminded me of a young Brook Lopez

Short video but shows why some pretty good programs are recruiting this guy.

If you know nothing about basketball, please don't post acting like you do. This is the most ignorant thing I've read since someone said Mickey going pro is addition by subtraction for LSU. Papagiannis is exactly what this team is missing to do BIG things next year. We are lacking front court depth, especially quality depth. I'm not writing off Robinson yet, but I'm not putting all my eggs in his basket either. Papagiannis was rated a 5 star prospect when he played high school ball in the states last year, if you don't think Coach Jones wants him badly you know nothing.

Please tell me how you know that JJ is going after him since you know everything? If you can answer that I will shut up. A writer on 247 had a write up about him, because of a request and he said that he reached out to Lsu. That is the only thing I have ever seen him mentioned in that concerned Lsu. There is nothing saying that Lsu is pushing to sign him and I would think there is one reason is because there is a chance he isn't even going to college. Nobody on here knows shite about who the staff is recruiting the hardest and who we have a shot because it is almost impossible to find out about someone's recruitment, unless some small info leaks, when you have a players family, coaches, and AAU team or sponsors involved in the recruitment pushing them everywhich way. If by some chance we get him, cool, but I don't see him being a priority. That's MY PERSONAL OPINION to be clear just like anything else said on here.

He started 4 games, but only logged 68 minutes for the entire season.

In that same write up you're referring to it says that LSU will be pushing for one of his official visits...the reason the article states...because a big man is a priority. I know that there's a chance that he won't go to college, but if he does I want him at LSU. Do I see it as a long shot? absolutely, but to state that he isn't needed is just asinine. I think we have a more realistic chance at Kasongo, just hope we get one of the two.

I would take him but I would rather us go for kasongo, I think it's a better fit
