And we keep all of our current commits, is there any way LSU does not finish at #1?

I doubt LSU will be #1. They should have a great class, but they always find away to lower their rankings close to the end. Just get em in and coach em up, and show it on the field...

Yep. It literally happened with Willie Allen less than 5 minutes ago.

Couple things here.

1. I know it's nice to boast the title of No. 1 class in the nation, but as long as LSU addresses it's needs, it doesn't matter what the rankings say. This class will be a home run whether the sites say its No. 1 or No. 101.

2. Believe it or not, recruiting sites don't have it out for LSU. They don't have a love affair with Bama, either. They're not dishing out or taking away stars based on who signs where. It's funny to talk about but not realistic in the least.

Just enjoy the guys who decide to be Tigers. It's one hell of a group

247 will find a way to keep LSU from number 1. I am fully convinced after seeing LSU drop 10 points this week prior to Allen committing without even loosing a recruit.

I don't know how long you followed recruiting but it would appear you just started. The Bama bump is real

You have no idea what you are talking about. I was listening to an interview last year on Sirius XM and one of the analysts said exactly that. If Nick Saban offers a guy, they take notice and reevaluate his ranking, if low. Their justification was that coaches key in on 100 or so kids and study them hard. The analysts have tens of thousands. Coaches can see more game film of individuals and talk to more coaches than they can with respect to certain prospects. The bump is very, very real....but it's not just for bama, although Saban gets more credibility than others may.

The Bama Bump has been confirmed by analysts. They feel they'll get better coaching at Bama and warrant the bump.

While I wish the world was honest, it just isn't going to be.

I would rather have the talent than the rankings. LSU knows it has and gets the talent by the # of players in the NFL.

We take the talent (at whatever grade the services give us) and win - that's all I care about honestly.

Kevin Spears went from not even being on the Rivals website to a 4 star in one day after LSU offered him.

The Bama bump is real because the sites know there is a good chance that player ends up getting drafted and in 3-4 years when you look back at their recruiting profile it gives that site more credibility.

The real question is why isn't there an LSU bump when we send more players to the league than they do.
