I am going out on a limb and saying that I think this kid could be a superstar. He has had unbelievable production his senior year and has the size to play in the SEC.

Richie Brown

Has a passing TD, 611 rushing yards with 11 TDs, 390 receiving yards with 4 TDs. And he won't be playing offense!!

181 total tackles in 12 games... 16.5 tackles a game!! That is unheard of.

I really hope we get this kid due to our lack of bigger inside LBackers.

Link to the stats max preps

Any thoughts on him??

See Debo Jones..

if he doesn't commit (which is highly unlikely) then Richie may be part of this class..

But I wouldn't bet on it

Les Miles contacted Richie Brown last week after he was a no show for the Arkansas game and instead attended a rain soaked egg bowl between a 5-6 team and 2-9 team. Brown's scholarship offer has been pulled and given to Debo Jones.

He's not a bigger linebacker. We'll be just fine with the guys we have as well as likely adding Perkins and Debo. Most of our LB recruits will be "bigger" than Brown.

I can see they took precedence with Debo over Richie but I HIGHLY doubt they pulled the offer. He might have told him to wait on committing, but you don't pull a kid's offer because he visited somewhere else, especially a kid from out of state

When you have 21 commits including Jeremy hill and feeling good about Ward, Collins, Debo Jones, McFarland, and maybe Kiel. Where does Brown fit in if they are going to sign 24 or 25. Like i said Debo Jones moved into Brown's spot.

I doubt we get Ward or McFarland. I don't even think we go hard after McFarland with so few spots remaining unless we strikeout with several others.

I see us getting
Hill
Collins
Debo
Perkins
Devall
and hopefully Gunner

Between Feist, Louis and Davis, any other LBs at this point is the extra icing on top. Landing someone like Debo and Devall at the end would be a awesome LB class.

Does anyone know if Debo's reported 40 times are true? He looks fast.

Idk, He claims a 4.4. Watching his video though he's plenty fast enough

Every single statement in this is untrue.
Richie attended neither game and informed all coaches before hand.

You guys crack me up... Fiction-spin doctors.

maybe the fact that LSU hasn't had a good white LB in a few decades could ease some of your bumness
