It's not acting like a scout, it's called being knowledgeable. Coaches know it, fans know it, it's not real common sense unless you're just a spectator.
I'm glad you think I just copy and paste what I see on websites. Who are you, the recruiting police or something? God forbid the recruiting board has a knowledgeable fan on it. Don't worry, I'll dumb down my posts for you from now on if it makes you feel more comfortable

I will say this...your initial post in this thread should be edited. The admin slap is over the top. They work really hard to run a tighter ship around here and I'm for it. You were on solid footing until that.

If you saw avery video and didn't know anything about him would you say he was deserving of 5star status?
Not trying to prove a point, just want an honest opinion, and to know what Im not seeing

Watch Jarvis Landry in the UA game. When his team needed a first down, those QBs zoned in on Jarvis because they knew exactly where he was gonna be and that he was gonna catch that ball. That's the same thing that you are gonna see with Avery. When you have reliable receivers, it makes you as a QB breathe a lot easier. While his videos are more entertaining than Avery's are, they both show off their 3 best assets: Hands, Route running, and Run blocking.
but that's not what a 5-star does
5-stars are athletic freaks who do jaw-dropping things. they're not possession receivers or blocking tight ends

I'm no scout either, I've just played and follow sports more in-depth than most (I can remember a lot of colleges of athletes, but can't remember my parent's birthdays or much I learned in college, which might be more alcohol related. Thank god for technology though
) But, to answer you, no his video doesn't give that wow factor that most 5* athletes give out if you're just watching it. From that video, he looks like a high 4* at worst
