saw your other post, thanks.
anyone know what kind of contact these new recruiting coaches will be able to have with the current team? ie, will they be kind of asst position coaches?

they cannot coach...the number of actual assistant coaches is restricted

Really surprising the NCAA is letting schools do this.
I am too, I've heard several coaches on various shows say they really don't like the rule and think it's very unfair to the kids, families and high school coaches.

To me this seems like a way for a school to "Hire" a recruits parent without having them as an actual coach.

There are basketball rules that prevent this, not sure about the football side. Basically, you have to hire them as an on-field coach or it's not legit. But FSU didn't get any push back on the Edwards stuff.

Here's a story on one of the guys Saban hired:
interesting, potentially someone could take a leave of absence from a sports agency and work for a college team.

It will just make a bigger disparity in the big schools and small schools.
It's really not the most fair thing for the NCAA to allow.
Also, this is going to be a cluster in cheating scandals.

Interesting because I have read multiple stories how saban does not like the new rule.

Alabama has been doing this for years. They always had way more 'interns' and S&C assistants than everyone else.
What is cheating
What do i win Alex

I'm wondering if Kevin Faulk is looking for a new hobby

You don't possibly think that coaches can noe hire girlfriends, daddies, uncles, hs coaches, etc.... to get highly touted recruits? This is going to be so bad
