recent NCAA rules changes allow for programs to hire recruiting coordinators and support staff that is separate from the actual coaching staff, all of whom are eligible to participate in recruiting in almost every aspect (outside of off-campus visits)

I know that Nick Saban now has 28 folks on staff (ten coaches, including himself, plus 18 others, including seven "Football Analysts" that will break down high school player films, run HS camps, etc)...Florida has 24 staff and Georgia has 22 staff members.

How is Les Miles and LSU positioning themselves for this rules change?

the info was forwarded to me by a UT friend. Apparently, Mack Brown is catching heat because UT hasn't done anything to prepare for this rule change.

Also, does anyone else think this will open some floodgates for underhanded dealings even more so? Really surprising the NCAA is letting schools do this.

Alabama has been doing this for years. They always had way more 'interns' and S&C assistants than everyone else. I guess now all they're doing is transitioning those interns into full employees.

I imagine you'll see a number of people hired soon, if they haven't been already to work under Sam Nader's direction. HS coaches, former players looking to get into coaching, and administrative types will all be brought in to the fold.
