Anyone have any info on if we are still pushing hard for him despite the UH commitment? He would make an excellent DE if we are transitioning to a 3-4...
I know we are starting to get into a numbers crunch so Im just wondering if the staff has backed off or is still on him?

The staff better be. Recruiting shouldn't stop until the dead period.

I'm hearing that we're sticking to a base 4-3 but will show some 3-4 looks.

Steele runs multiple defensive sets. We will see a little bit of everything, including a 3 man front, at times.

You are correct...See Ed Alexander's Interview below:

Ed Alexander Interview

He does not say much be its clear he could not be committed to LSU if we did not primarily run a 4-3

And Ed Oliver is not a 3-4 DE. He's a 3-tech DT all the way.
