How good is Landon Collins?

I'm hearing alot of good things about this kid. Just wondering how good he really is and if he is comparable to any former players? Also do we stand a good chance of landing him?

dude looks like hes on steroids. Its a lsu alabama battle for him. I think he ends up at lsu.

Landon Collins is the best high school defensive player I have ever seen. He has ball skills, is extremely quick, fast, and strong. He hits like a ton of bricks. He also can return punts very well. He is like Laron but is better with ball skills and coverage ability especially at that age. Collins was on the field with Eric Reid and I never even noticed Reid at any point. He literally outplayed him the entire season and he is a lot bigger and better than he was that sophomore year. The kid is stud. He starts as a freshman in my opinion. He will be T-Rex but is alot bigger, faster, and stronger. He has that same knack for big plays as T-Rex.

It's Bama vs Lsu battle with lsu being the bigtime (90%+) favorite.

So in terms of prospects coming out of high school he is one of the best we've ever recruited then? If he's being compared to Landry

Well I can tell you this, he isn't apparently good enough for 5 stars on scout which is usually more generous to us compared to rivals who has him as a 5.

I saw that, and I don't understand how he is not a 5 star on scout. You're right, they are normally much more generous with that 5th star than any other site.
I guess, to keep with the recurring theme on the board, it's safe to say....
scout hates LSU recruits.
