Time to offer Woodraw so we can have our first white CB in years.

I'd rather he go to his dream school and watch him get burned for 4 years.

So hoping that Mack Brown does something stupid and screws up with Prevot because he didn't commit at either Junior Day

It would be awesome if his name was Woodrow, but that is his school. His name is Colin Spencer.

40-yard dash
1. Hakeem Deggs, WR, 5-7, 149, Plaquemine (Plaquemine, La.) -- 4.41
1. Shakeir Ryan, WR, 5-8, 148, Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, La.) -- 4.41
3. Colin Spencer, DB, 5-9.5, 174, Woodrow Wilson (Dallas) -- 4.42
4. Jeremy Jordan, WR, 5-9, 156, Magnolia West (Magnolia, Texas) -- 4.43
5. Jacoby Davis ('14), RB, 5-8, 169, Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, La.) -- 4.47

Abbeville hasn't had this much speed since Birkenstock lead Abbeville High to the flag football title in 1999.

Looks a lot like Tyler Glynn. Glynn scored really high in the Nike Sparq competition too.

I was impressed with that vertical as well. And it's a 5'9 kid. Imagine how high off the ground that kid was. The 2nd kid jumped 41 as well at 5'11. Impressive to me. Also I think they do it off grass/turf and just a standing jump. Difference and more impressive to me is that,in year's past at least, they jumped off the field not a platform like at the NFL combine. They may have platforms at the HS events now so my point could be moot. Jumping off the ground is much different than jumping off those platforms. Different footing and balance

Arkansas should not be anyone's dream school. The fact that he would even say that makes me think he has bad decision making.

That being said, this player is probably legit. He has a very fast shuttle so this is more than just straight line speed. Unlike McGuffie, he is unlikely to have to worry about concussions at CB. In addition, Woodrow Wilson plays against some pretty good receivers. DISD may not be so good in the trenches but have always been good at the skill positions. In his District alone, he plays Hillcrest, Spruce and Lincoln which would give him some good matchups.

Shakeir Ryan got that speed when he was a member of the Lafayette High track team....
