Saw he had a rough day. Doesn’t take away that he has some good potential within our offense

Bruh, Dilfer said 75% of the grade comes from JR film........the Elite 11 states 50% of the grade comes from the JR film....

If the Elite 11 was based solely on the performance at the event......CW wouldn’t have been MVP......He wasn’t the most impressive, neither was Nuss.....

But that’s alright....

So he’s #7. Like I said, supposedly 50% of their grade comes from JR film, which is silly in a camp setting. Just tell us who did better over the 3 days.....Nuss had a higher score than CW day 2, and even had a miss handled snap that cost him 3 points.

Williams got MVP and wasn’t even in the top 5 in this shorts and T-Shirt competition.

All this BS is subjective. What’s not subjective is CW having a 54% completion % against questionable competition. Don’t get me wrong, dude is a fricken baller like Jalen Hurts....but making reads and diagnosing defenses.....Nuss will be just fine...

Dilfer was quoted about Nuss saying...“he’s a better version of his dad”. Who was an NFL QB.....all I needed to hear!

Gotcha, but that was a pipe dream. Just like CW still being uncommitted. He’s going to OU. He has a better chance of beating out Rattler than Nuss and Johnson. He has a helicopter dad like Tua.......hell he might choose Maryland.

He still has an LSU offer. But he ain’t coming here. Hate to say it, but if I was CW I’d seriously look at Auburn. I know, I know, but Gus would run that SOB to death, and make him look good doing it.

That's not the elite 11 rankings it's the 247sports rankings for how they specifically performed at the camp. Two different rankings.

lol, no offense, but Rattler is better than Nuss and Johnson, and I like Johnson. I would bet you that Williams would start before either of them if he came here and redshirted a year behind Brennan.

So you are thinking along the old tired line that this dude is a running back playing QB. Also, Gus hasn't had a "running QB" since Nick Marshall. Where do you people come from? The dude excels as a runner, but if you had any sense you can see that he's way more than that.

In my honest opinion, this guy and Vandagriff are the two best QBs coming out and are future super star college QBs. Ty is a notch below and McCord looks good too. Nuss will be good but I'd put him below all four.

Where did Finley finish last year at the elite 11 ? Nuss finishing 7th in the final ranking is something LSU fans would have drooled over considering the abyss that was LSU qb's in the past.

The elite 11 is not the be all, end all. Look at Kedon Slovis from USC. He made 5 star JT Daniels transfer. Also, don't forget about a certain number 9 who played at LSU. He was the 280th raked player coming out of high school. He just needed the right fit.

SI write up of Elite 11

SI says that Williams was the best based solely on camp performance.

It is interesting to read perspectives on upside and/or downside but every now and then we stumble across a Joe Burrow and that is what keeps my interest in the player derby

Did you watch any of it? The Elite 11 is a joke. It doesn't have any credibility left.

Every now and then? It happens every year.

Caleb Williams is NOT beating out Spencer Rattler

I agree he’ll probably go to OU, but he’s not starting QB his first 2 years if he does.
