After last year and Toshiro Davis and Landon Collins and then Janzen Jackson a few years ago, I don't believe anything until the LOI comes in signed.

Now that things look solid with Herron, what about Bower, the DE, from New Jersey? Things about him have been pretty quiet for the last week or so--could he be the BOOM?

Yeah, LC had not actually committed to LSU, but apparently, he was telling the coaches that he was coming to LSU and then shocks everyone by committing to Alabama. He was not an actual commit, but he gave every indication that he was all LSU.
Davis and Jackson were actual commits, just like Herron is.
