The 90% of UF 5 stars being drafted is an interesting note. I wonder what variables accounted for that.

I couldn't post the entire article, but where LSU does well is putting sheer numbers of players in the NFL - somewhere, maybe not all 1st round.

I will admit, a lot of the things that apply to Bama also apply to LSU - we've had our share of 5 stars that didn't go 1st round, or even finish their college career. The whole idea of my comments were to show that losing this 5 local talent may - or may not - be as signficant as the butthurt is this month.

I think in that respect LSU will be OK. Remember, if you are a Bama player, you are surrounded by other 5 star talent...SEC refs look the other way...How can you NOT succeed? LSU doesn't have quite the numbers in raw talent, but maybe they are better prepared through work ethic, having more obstacles to overcome, etc.

As someone said, it's a small sample size. But given that for 90% of the posts on here, it all hearsay, a little science now and then doesn't hurt.
