It is a couple days old. I searched and didn't see anything. If germans.....please be gentle.

"It's really Neville first. That's why I try to schedule visits on weekends so I can get my work in," Lawrence said. "I'm a Neville Tiger until the last game I play, which is hopefully in the state championship game again. I want to make sure they know I'm putting my team first and that college is coming second right now."
quote:
The senior defensive tackle has already visited Alabama and is visiting Ohio State this weekend, with visits to LSU and Ole Miss in the works. Lawrence also listed Florida State and some West Coast schools such as UCLA, Oregon and Washington as potential visit destinations before the summer is over.
quote:
"It's just really a visit to spend time with the coaches, look at the campus and everything," Lawrence said. "It's about the chemistry: the players I would be playing with, the coaching staff and everything.
"I did camps last year. Most coaches just want me to come and spend time with them, hang with the players and get a feel for the campus and everything."
quote:
For his on-field production, the senior wants to add another line to his Neville scouting report: versatile pass rusher
"Probably my sack total. Me and the defensive line, we've been doing stuff that's really for our pass rushing. Across the front, I think we should have a lot more sacks this year," Lawrence said. "The coaches know we can stop the run, but we really want to pin our ears back and get after the quarterback.

He did an interview recently where he alluded to wanting to talk to players to see if "the coach is all hype or if he's the real deal." Idk why but that just screamed coach O to me. If it comes to him wanting to talk to players and get their opinion of a coach as a big factor for picking a school, you gotta like our chances.

I do too. If its between LSU and Bama, his style fits LSU better. Pinning his ears to the QB is more Coach O, and not Occupying blockers in Bama'a system...IMO...

I just hope we can overcome Bo Davis' masterful recruiting tactic of telling him that guys from north louisiana don't get along with guys from south louisiana in the LSU locker room.

Is that really a tactic they use? That's bogus if true. This is the Boot, most natives get along really well, even black and white gets along for the most part.

Even though you're correct, the fact that this even comes to mind shows that we(as a country) have a long way to geaux. *No race baiting intended*

Those were Bo Davis' talking points that he gave to Torshiro Davis when he recruited him to Texas and orchestrated Davis lying to the LSU staff and flipping on signing day.

Screams Coach Miles to me. He's the ultimate players' coach.

I agree. Lawrence wants to go somewhere with a family-like atmosphere. He's been pretty vocal about that.

I see what you're saying but it came to mind because the people of Louisiana have great humility. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense for players not getting along in the locker room if there isn't a major social issue between race.

Key the "I'm from Louisiana" song.

Get him coach O!! Alexander, Lawrence, and Taylor would be one helleva wrecking crew, some big ole boys right there and all from the boot too. Can't wait until it's a given that our big time recruits don't even think about going else where bc it's LSU and we are kicking the SECs butt! Then we can start dogging Texas Georgia, Alabama, and FL for their big recruits. If for nothing else to take those recruits from our rivals. Make them recruit em all year and have to spend that time in state so they can't go OOS so much. Hurt em at the same time being greedy lol
