I've only recently learned about Beal but am super excited about his potential.
He can run/catch and block. If he pans out, he will be key to LSU averaging 40/game under Canada.

Exactly! I mean, who knows what the kid will do a year from now. This is turning out to be one of the most frustrating recruiting years for in-state talent that I've seen in a long time. But, I think the LSU staff has done a very good job out of state.

he must be if JC is allowing him to go ahead and commit... that's one thing JC is very adamant about... when you give your "verbal" you may as well go on a sign the LOI... if there's any inkling of waver, he makes them hold off on their verbal... JC don't play that flip shite...

Well Ghost, if he commits to LSU I hope he honors his word. I grew up in Walker which is a 30 min drive from the LSU campus, so I've been LSU since I can remember (sometime around 1970) So, maybe I just have biased emotions toward LSU and the state of Louisiana, but it's always been LSU and I've always had pride in where I'm from. I suppose there's a lot of kids who don't share those sentiments. Which I find hard to understand. It is what it is, not much I can do to change the choices of 17, 18 and 19 year old kids.
