Gino says CLM is also visiting with Lewis Neal today. I can't find anything to confirm that. He makes this stuff up... My sources say Gino's sources are dubious at best... A broken clock is right twice a day..

@ImBallinNeal18: “@clarkbmichael: #LSU head coach Les Miles is on his way to Wilson NC for his in-home visit with #Tigers commit DE/LB Lewis Neal”

That's a retweet by Lewis Neal. You sound dumb now

well, this doesn't sound too good about Goodman... and possibly Priest...

LINK

quote:

“I was supposed to visit LSU but I never got the paperwork,” Goodman said. “I’m still talking with them and I may visit there in two weeks but I’m not really sure what I’m going to do. I’m playing in the West Coast Bowl this weekend so the only weekend I have left is that Feb 2 weekend.

“I could visit LSU or one of the Florida schools and I’m talking a lot with California too. On one hand, it would be fun to visit an out of state school that I’ve never seen but it might also be good to visit an in-state school because it’s closer and Cal has been recruiting me hard so I’m just taking it day by day.”

Speaks very highly of UCLA, then...

quote:

“I might do it on Signing Day,” Goodman said. “Me and Priest are thinking of how we can do it together so we might actually do it this week. I’m still looking at all my options and that’s why I may wait a few more weeks and do it Signing Day but Priest and I have both talked about wanting to start recruiting for the school we choose so that’s why it could be as soon as this week.

Strikes me as odd how all the talk of a package deal is coming from Goodman's side only. Kid needs to quit hitching his star to Priest's wagon

It's called friendship. Goodman does not need to hitch a ride. He has his own transportation.

Well if they are in fact a package deal it doesn't look good for LSU. It does seem weird that PW never mentions the package deal part though. I am really hoping the in home visit on Monday isn't just a last ditch effort.

Package deals happen every once in a while but usually don't work out. My only hope in this case is the latter. As a previous poster said, Preist never mentions the package deal.

Is there any doubt at this point?

Kid is looking for a nice free trip, he's not serious about LSU.

In fact, Goodman talks about recruiting, and it appears he's working on Priest!

In SoCal I get a Daily Beast article about a "kinky priest who sold meth"! (nola.com article about Priest making decision this week is #6 - UCLA not on page one )

If they both announce this week, it's UCLA. If it's just Priest, we still have a decent shot.

LSU fans, take note - THAT'S how you view a rival school. I wish LSU fans still hated Tulane and Ole Miss like this.

There's a certain amount of Karmic convergence, too, as Ole Miss are now the "Bears" (bruins) and Tulane's mascot might as well be a teddy bear.
